How QR codes on certificates work
On Studio and up, every certificate you issue with verification gets a QR code that opens its verify page.
Before you start
A Studio, Academy or Institute plan with verification turned on in your certificate setup.
Steps
- Turn on verification in your certificate setup.
- Make sure your design has room for the QR code.
- Issue the certificate. The QR code and verify link are created with the public record.
- Scan it with a phone camera to test it before sending to the whole group.
What to keep in mind
Spark and guest certificates have no QR code or verify page. Revoking a certificate permanently updates what the QR code shows. It doesn't remove copies already shared.
