How to verify a certificate
If someone sent you a certificate made with Certinator, you can check it in seconds. You don't need an account.
Before you start
You don't need an account. Open the verify link or scan the QR code on the certificate.
Steps
- Scan the QR code on the certificate, or open the verify link the person shared.
- Check that the page is on certinator.com and that the name, achievement, issuer and date match the certificate.
- Look at the status. Valid, Expired or Revoked is shown on the page.
- If anything doesn't match, or there's no link or QR code, contact the organization that issued it.
What to keep in mind
The page shows what the issuer submitted. It isn't proof of identity or accreditation, so for important decisions, confirm with the issuer too. Certificates made on the free Spark plan don't have a verify page.
